Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As you know, Dad was admitted to Medway Hospital at the beginning of April. He spent 2 and half weeks of his time in the Intensive Care Unit.  The care and treatment Dad received there was outstanding. There are so many staff from consultants to doctors, nurses, physios and many many more working tirelessly to save lives and at the same time offer support and care to relatives.  Dad fought hard and was moved from ICU to the High Dependency Unit and finally onto Bronte Ward.  Sadly Dad lost his battle for life on 15 May 2015.

Dad's treatment in all wards was second to none, but we feel the Intensive Care Unit really did give Dad the best chance of life.  To give something back we would like to raise awareness and support for the Intensive Care Unit at Medway Maritime Hospital.  If you would like to donate to this cause, to say a huge thank you to those who tried to save Dad, and to allow them to offer the same support to anyone needing their care, you can do so here.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
