Tracy passed away on Christmas night having spent 2 years and 9 months fighting ovarian cancer. She has always supported charities ranging from Cancer research, Lifeboats, Help for Heroes, The British legion, and more recently an ovarian cancer support group called Overcome. She has made a request that there are no flowers at her funeral, only those from family (which will be very simple) and that if people wish to donate, it should be to a charity instead.
As she spent her final day days at the Garden House Hospice it seems fitting that they are the families chosen charity. The nurses, staff and volunteers allowed her stay to be as comfortable and as pain free as possible. They also provided fantastic help and support to myself, her son David, and the rest of the family.
I speak for all the family when I say that Garden House Hospice is a fantastic place. The professionalism, compassion, dedication, facilities, and the overall ambiance made Tracy's passing dignified and peaceful.
I have set a target of £1000 as that was the figure Tracy Raised for Overcome when she held her Virtual retirement party and with your help I'm sure we will reach that figure again, but this time for the hospice.
Thank you for taking the time to read her page lots of love and hugs to all (((XXX)))
