Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
10 years ago, our beautiful mum, Margaret Trickett, died from complications following her illness through Encephalitis from which she had narrowly missed death four years earlier. Margaret was just 54 years old.
On 6 July, in memory of the most amazing lady, and in order to raise awareness of this devastating condition and funds for The Encephalitis Society, we “Tricketts” are embarking on a HUGE challenge together that will push us to our limits! Keep reading.
Brian, Adèle and Conrad will complete a marathon and Chrisanna will run a half-marathon.
Brian, Adèle and Conrad will start the route in Chester (where we grew up), Adèle running and Brian and Conrad cycling, making their way to Sandiway near Northwich. Chrisanna will join at this point and the three young Tricketts will run for the next 13 miles (with dad on a bike) around the 5 churches that mum had responsibility for as a Methodist Minister - Sandiway- Cuddington - Weaverham - Acton Bridge - Bartington. We will end up at St Lawrence's church in Frodsham which is where mum was laid to rest. Frodsham was also where mum grew up.
