Whilst most of us are preparing for the Christmas break in the UK, people are loosing homes to flooding in many part of Tamil Nadu and Northern Sri Lanka.

People from some badly affected areas have been moved to temporary camps as their homes are flooded. Many are surviving on emergency supplies. Others have had to move away from riversides for their safety.

They are all in desperate need of help with the purchase of food and the replacement of basic belongings. We  particularly want to help the victims, specially the children, in Tamil Nadu as well as in Northern Sri Lanka.
