My dad (Barry McIllroy/Basil) suffered a stroke in June 2011. He was in hospital for a number of months and his rehabilitation was a long, slow process. After a huge effort, Basil has been able to achieve a great deal that was unimaginable before. He has attended Dyscover and it has helped his recovery process and helped to restore his confidence and communication. I wanted to support my dad and help this wonderful charity in this small way.
