Tundra to the Tropics, 8 February 2017
We provide end of life care to clients with life limiting illnesses

Story

In February I will be running 230km through the Arctic Circle. The race is over 5 stages, 4 of which are over marathon distance, the longest being 65km. All competitors are required to carry their own food for the 5 days in addition to mandatory safety and medical equipment and clothing for Arctic conditions.

I will then have just 3 months to recondition myself to tropical climates as I travel to Peru in June to do it all again except this time it's in the Amazon Rainforest. The biting cold is replaced by 100% humidity and creepy crawlies that get EVERYWHERE.
