Story

This September i am running the Great North run (13.1 miles), for Forces Children's Trust.

The Forces Children’s Trust is charity devoted to helping children whose father or mother has died, or has sustained life threatening injuries whilst serving as a member of the British Armed Forces.

It provides financial help for children when, for example, their mother in her present circumstances cannot afford it. It also funds trips and events to get the children and mothers together, and put a smile back on their faces.

This is illustrated by a recent case where FCT provided special software for a dyslexic young boy who had sadly lost his father. The cost was beyond the mother and not available from other sources.

Over the years, I have seen this chairty help a number of my loved friends, and therefore would like to raise as much money as possible for it to be able to help even more people like my friends.
