IMAGINE THIS:

Imagine you or one of your children are between the ages of 4-6 years old and have been deaf since birth. You are living in a dilapidated building and the only way of communication is through sign language. However when it gets dark (usually 6pm) you cannot talk to anyone because there is no electricity due to power shortages and you cant see what anyone is saying and you cant hear any sounds either!!!! All alone and scared at the age of 4-6 years old.

This is where you can help....

In September I will be joining a team to help support very young deaf children in Uganda with building and renovating schools, providing equipment such as hearing aids and computers etc as well as teaching them life skills. We hope to be able to provide solar panels to these schools so that when it becomes dark they have a storage of electricity to keep the lights on and feel safe and continue to communicate.

My role as part of the team is to interpret in sign language between the volunteers and the children as well as teaching the children. I will be involved in the other roles too.

So I will be doing a series of challenges and ask for your kindness.

Firstly, on May 18th I will be fire-walking over 15-20ft of 2000 degree hot coals to raise money. Please support me with your donations.
