Story
Some of you may be aware that several dads of Hall Grove School have been raising money for Cherry Trees Respite Care for children over the last year.
Dads Nigel Long and Iain McNeil recently competed in the Tuesday Club (see you next …..) car rally from Bagshot to Watergate Bay, Cornwall on the 13th May 2016.
The Tuesday Club is a group of dads all with young children at the school that meet once a month for a bit of fun, food, humour, and light hearted events that raise money for Cheery Trees charity http://www.cherry-trees.co.uk/
The event was a huge success and we finished second overall in the rally!!!! The rally departed from Longacres, Bagshot, where entrants had to solve cryptic clues to decipher 6 stop off points along the route, upon arrival we were met with various challenges including cricket, basketball, supersize darts, archery, clay pigeon shooting, quizzes and much more. Of course fancy dress and humiliation were par for the course, hopefully you enjoy the photos (Iain & Nigel are the scousers – nothing was safe!).
Donations continue to go to Cheery Trees so we are very grateful for any further contributions.
Thank you very very much to everyone for their very generous donations so far.
Love Iain McNeil & Nigel Long
