UNW Coast to Coast Charity Bike Ride, 2 July 2017

Story

On Saturday 2nd July 2016 a group of 21 dedicated colleagues from UNW will cycle almost 80 miles from St Mary's Lighthouse to Holy Island in support
of our nominated charity.

If the 80 mile cycle wasn't enough to contend with, they also have the added
spice of racing against the tide. Hopefully wetsuits won’t be needed and
they can get across the causeway before 23:55 on the Saturday evening!

The team are hoping to raise £5,000 for our newly staff-nominated charity Smile for Life, a charitable organisation dedicated to enhancing and enriching the lives of disadvantaged and disabled children who may be unable to get all the funding they require from the larger national charities and other organisations.

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible and with that in mind we would like to ask you for your support. Every pound we raise will be matched by UNW.

The team:

Ben Hair, Dave Bowman, Martin Oliver, Nicola Short, Elliott Hails, Jill Rigg, Philip
Ballantyne, Eleanor McIntosh, Laura Kendal, Vicki McDonald, Katharine Matthews, Michael Morris, Andrew Wimshurst, Hazel Smith, Sam Morris, Lee Muter, Fern Pearcey, Liam Richardson, Stuart Hogg, Andrew Wilson, Alex Nicolls.

Thank you in advance for your kind support
