The UWS Christmas Appeal 2013

Let’s build a school. The focus of our 2013 Christmas Appeal is Burma. Our campaign target is £6,000.

£10k will build a school in Burma in early 2014 providing educational opportunity to around 200 children.

With around half of this already pledged, we have an opportunity to provide education and life chances to a whole community. 

We know there are thousands of great causes out there to support – which is why we recognise and hugely appreciate it when our friends, family and colleagues choose to support UWS.

UWS is entirely funded by private donations; in 2014 we plan to build at least 5 more schools, expanding into Myanmar, and delivering basic education to over 5000 children and young adults who otherwise would have no school to attend. Our Christmas Appeal 2013 is one key step on this journey.
