- UBUNTU: an African term and philosophy translating to "humanity towards others" and "I am because we are". - 

Along with 11 other Generali Group employees from around the world, this November, I will be travelling to Bolgatanga, Ghana on a humanitarian trip to live and work with a rural Ghanaian family for one week. We will experience their daily lives and actively engage in meaningful cultural exchange.

As a part of our challenge, each participant is asked to raise £1,000 (just under $1,500 USD) to be wholly and directly donated to the initiatives implemented by Alquity Transforming Lives & AfriKids.

100% of all funds raised will go to the charity. Our offices worldwide will be holding a number of events in aid of the Alquity Transforming Lives Foundation (www.alquity.com) in conjunction with AfriKids Charity (www.afrikids.org), which is dedicated to alleviating child suffering and poverty through sustainable programs.
