Dear Friends and Supporters,

This is a most perilous time in the history of Ukraine. Hundreds of innocent civilians, including journalists and women, have been killed, and many more have been seriously injured or displaced. They require urgent medical treatment and/or temporary shelter. Hospitals are overstretched and are unable to provide full treatment to all those who need help, whilst most people cannot afford to pay privately.

Ukraine Charity (www.ukrainecharity.org.uk), a UK registered charity, has set up a special Crisis Relief Fund designed specifically to address this need and separate from its other charitable efforts. Your help for the people affected in Ukraine would be most appreciated.

Funds raised to date have already been deployed for necessary medical treatment and medications under the International Renaissance Foundation IRF Humanitarian Solidarity Project. 

We have also funded refurbishment of an orphanage in Mostyshche near Kyiv, where many families of refugees have sought shelter, and we purchased steriliser equipment for Hospital #17 in Kyiv, which has been at the forefront of the relief effort. Yet, we continue to receive additional credible pleas for help.
