Story
Hi everyone! My name is Alexey and I live in London. All my life I had a tradition: I shaved my head every time when my team was losing the chances to win in FIFA World Cup or UEFA Euro Cup. When my team lost again two years ago I shared my intentions to regulars in my local and one of my friends, Chris, who was suffering from cancer, told me that I must do it in favour of one of the local charities.
I was sceptical about it but agreed. My target was 400 pounds, but you were so great and helped me to collect 650 pounds to help Macmillan! It was amazing! Thank you all for that again!
Why don't we support the Russian children now?
Russian NHS is inadequate.
Russian hospitals look like hell.
Russian currency plummeted dramatically and as the result the costs of European/American drugs soared.
The recent research conducted by HSE showed that 1/3 of Russian families with kids cannot afford medicines prescribed to their kids by doctors.
Hospitals are not allowed to purchase good foreign medicines and they cure our kids with shitty local products and sometimes just with placebo.
We are not able to change it. But what we CAN do - is to help the innocent kids. Gift of Life is the most trustful charity organisation in Russia. I have decided to shave my head to show my solidarity with the cancer children. And I want to raise at least 1,000 pounds to support Gift of Life in their efforts in this admirable cause.
All I need is you help. Any penny counts.
Grateful thanks for your support!
