The Prophet  ﺻﻠﯽ الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ said: "Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity." Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 589 

Charity (Sadaqah) is due upon every joint of a person on everyday that the sun rises.  Bukhari 

 

What As-Suffa Institute Offer: (classes are fully segregated)

Alimiyya classes - Full time for brothers.  Part time for brothers and sisters.  Taught by many great scholars.  Shaamaail of Rasulullah salallahu alayhi wassalam is introduced from the first year as well as Qur'anic Arabic, Qasas an Nabi and Bayna Yadayk.  I am a first year student and highly recommend this course.  Every muslims should attempt the first year at least.

Tajweed classes - Readers Level, Beginners level 1, Intermediate Level 2, Advanced Level 3, Advanced Plus Level 4.  12 consecutive Saturdays per Level.  10am-12noon.  Taught by qualified teachers.  This course consists of theory and practice.  Students are also taught masnoon duaas, 1 or 2 duaas per week.  I'm now on level 3 and have learnt over 30 duaas alhamdulilah.  

Tafseer classes - A free class, open to all.  Taught by a master of Arabic, Mufti Liaquat Zaman.  Every Sunday 5.30-7.30.  This is where I started out a few years back and have continued to attend due to the great benefit and value that is added to my life.  

As-Suffa Institute also run regular short courses, several homelessness projects, martial arts for kids, childrens clubs, halaqahs and more.  Their efforts are constant and successful masha Allah.

Why am I raising money?

There is a need for more space and better facilities.  As-Suffa events are always packed out.  Your donations will go directly to the New Building Project.  Target = £500, 000.
