Story
In 2000, approximately 256,000 children and adults around the world developed some form of leukaemia, and 209,000 died from it. About 90% of all leukemias are diagnosed in adults. For any age group the impacts on those disgnosed and also families of loved ones are often the hardest things to cope with. The funding of research can help reduce the number of people who do not survive luekaemia, Even if you do not know someone who has be diagnosed with luekaemia, I think almost everyone can associate themselves with the pain of hearing someone close to them has a form of cancer.
