Independent Cinema MK brings a wider variety of film to a wider variety of people in the city. We do this by creating cinema events in great locations and bringing cinema closer to you. http://www.ic-mk.org

The Vagabond Cinema project encapsulates the spirit, determination and creative energy of Independent Cinema MK creating regular film nights and pop-up  touring cinema events that people can enjoy in their community. Since the first film screening at a church in 2009 Vagabond has really taken off.

This year ICMK recorded 3936 attendances at events, screened 96 films across Milton Keynes with 33 artists, filmmakers and musicians, 14 groups and 52 volunteers and now we want to bring our film events to more people in the city.

The funds that we raise over the next 6 months will help us to buy a Vagabond vehicle, buy equipment and employ a Vagabond Community Project Worker to liaise with communities and work on special events; transforming our ad hoc activities into a professionally run service and doubling our audiences in 2 years. The Swimathon will really help to get us off to a great start.
