Graham and I have been accepted onto the WHW challenge ride "Battlefield Centenary Tour" taking place in Sept 2014 - it does not give us a lot of time to raise the funds we need but we hope it will be achievable with your help and support. I have created a "Just Giving" page (or tried to) to try and make this more straightforward for those who wish to support this cause... But we are doing other things as well - holding a "prize competition", a dance with live entertainment, games, prizes etc and my husband is making his famous tablet for sale at a reasonable price so if you wish to place an order please let us know... among other things!
For those who do not know what the World Horse Welfare (formerly the ILPH) does ... they are constantly battling to make a better world for horses to live in and when you see the challenges the are up against both domestic and abroad they really do deserve all the support we can give them ... World Horse Welfare say:
We are an international horse charity that improves
the lives of horses in the
and around the world through education, campaigning, and
hands-on care.

Being
a horse lover I felt that I had to try and play my part in helping the equine
community throughout the UK and the rest of the world ... Over the years of
riding and owning horses they have given me so much joy and pleasure and total,
unconditional love (Domingo) I felt I wanted to try and give something back...
(So killing myself riding for 7 straight days seemed the best thing for it! )
seriously though all joking aside this cause is something very close to my
heart and because of this to Grahams too and we would be very grateful of any
support given.
Many, Many Thanks, Vanya-Louise & Graham x
