I'm taking part in the Lakes 8 Peak Challenge to raise awareness of Endometriosis.  It's a chronic and debilitating condition which affects 1 in 10 women - approximately 1.5m in the UK alone.  The primary symptoms are pelvic pain and infertility.

What causes Endometriosis is not clear and there is no cure so my friend Emma and I would like to support the work of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation.

We would also like to raise awareness of the issues women with Endometriosis experience so that they can get the diagnosis, treatment and support they need.
