Story

Only those closest to me will know about the rough time I've had recently but I've decided to share it to not only raise some cash for a very important cause close to my heart, but to also raise awareness of this scary, heartbreaking and potentially life threatening condition.

6 weeks ago I was told I was suffering with my 3rd ectopic pregnancy.

Of all 3 I have suffered , this was the most devastating.

It resulted in my second Fallopian tube being removed, and with it, any hope we had of conceiving another child naturally.

I lost my 1st Fallopian tube back in 2013 after finding out I was having my first ectopic pregnancy. Unfortunately I went on to have another Ectopic in November last year, but thankfully surgeons managed to save my remaining Fallopian tube.

Then, 5 weeks ago I was given the devastating news I was suffering with another ectopic pregnancy. This resulted in my Fallopian tube rupturing, causing massive internal bleeding.

I was lucky in the sense my tube ruptured at home, with my partner present, who was able to rush me to hospital. Had I been alone suffering with internal bleeding things could have turned out different.

I was rushed straight to surgery but there was no option but to take remaining Fallopian tube out, leaving me completely infertile.

Aged 29 with plans to have more children... It's a very hard pill to swallow.

I'm finally back on my feet so I've decided to turn this into something positive and raise some awareness and cash for the ECTOPIC PREGNANCY TRUST by Jumping out of a plane 15,000 feet high!

They provide support and knowledge to anyone affected by this devastating pregnancy complication and do not receive any government funding so the money raised is massively welcomed and relied upon.

So please give the website 5 minutes of your time, share it, give it the attention it needs, and read up on the signs and symptoms, because if not spotted early it can be life threatening.

This condition threatens the lives of 1 in 80 women, and is the leading cause of death in early pregnancy.

Thanks
