Every year about 4,000 Irish women travel to Britain for abortions, incurring the costs of flights, accommodation and having to pay privately for the procedure itself. The Abortion Support Network provides financial assistance, accommodation and confidential, non-judgemental information to these women. The cost of this ranges from £400 to £2000 depending on circumstance and stage of pregnancy.

Abortion is a routine medical procedure - one of the most common that happens every day, which about 1 in 3 women in Britain will avail of in her lifetime. I'm raising money for the Abortion Support Network so that they can help my Irish sisters have the care and respect that all women deserve when we choose not to be pregnant, while the fight to repeal the 8th Amendment continues.

I know a half isn't loads but it's not gonna be easy given that I've never been a very ~spry~ runner and my left ankle is made out of metal - so please give generously to this fantastic charity.
