JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE 10/09/16
Give me your money!!!! Please.
I am jumping out of a plane for many reasons. Firstly this charity is blinding! Well, it's not, and that's the point. Vital research that will help people in my lifetime and future generations to see again. We take it for granted that we can see, even with glasses or contacts we don't realise how devastating it can be to have sight and lose it due to varying degenerative issues. This directly affects the person that I love the most, my Mum, and I'd like to think that sooner rather than later other people with her condition or similar could be helped.
Also on the day of my jump it will be a year and 3 days after I was hospitalised in Corfu and I couldn't stand or walk so I'd really like to mark how far I've come by launching myself out of a plane at 10,000 feet. Can't be bothered to run 10k so thought I'd just fall and let gravity do the hard work.
As well as that I am quite afraid of planes, heights and falling so thought I'd nail all these in one go.
On top of that I'm currently in a personal battle to lose some weight to help my recovery further and thought I'd rather like yet another incentive.
