When I first signed up to run the Transylvanian Marathon, I thought it was all about saving the Romanian forests. Well that's great because bears that aren't in The Revenant  are lovely. But it still seems a bit mystical and far away and hard to relate to until I get there. However, The European Nature Trust also has a major focus on the Scottish Highlands. 

Anybody who has met me in the last 4years will know that I've left a little bit of my heart in Scotland and I love it dearly. It's wildernesses are precious and I hope my grandchildren get to enjoy them too.
