I am that sort of person that needs a focus in life.  I currently find I have a lot of spare time but few meaningful things to do with it.

I recently had cause to reflect back on the occasion when I first met Talan.  This was a couple of years ago when my life felt hectic and I didn’t feel I had time or anything else to offer his charity.

A recent event prompted me to start thinking about how to fill my time and ultimately what I might now be able to do to support this worthy cause.  With very little thought I concluded that I should undertake a sponsored Coastal Journey around the UK and Northern Ireland on my CB400SF.  (You see, something I am good at is deciding on things without really looking into them).   I guess only time will tell if I am able to pull this off but I feel sure that with the support and belief  of my new biker family, anything is possible.

The official Kick-off/Ride off is planned to take place on June 8th 2014 from Pinewood Bar & Café, Old Wokingham Road, RG40 3AQ.  I will confirm the time later but would love to see as many folks as possible come to see me off or even join me for the ride down to the seaside to support me on the first riding leg of this journey.
