Those who know me well know my daughter was diagnosed as on the Autistic spectrum aged 4. She has always loved horses,  and the time she spends with them helps her to release tension, learn to control her emotions and has encouraged her speech 

Sadly the RDA centre at Stirling closed and she was not able to ride for a number of months, but Shiresmill Centre offered her a place and she has been attending there to ride. She loves the ponies and it is teaching her a lot about patience and communication.

They are maintained entirely through charitable donations and need several hundred pounds a week to feed the ponies through the winter. I'd like to thanks them by fundraising.

I've never run a half marathon, so this should be interesting!
