Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am Laura, Will's wife and I will be updating and running this page on his behalf . Those who know him, will Know he is not the best with this sort of thing!
Will was diagnosed oct 14 with a GBM4. He under went debulking surgery where they removed what they could. he then completed daily radiotherapy and chemotherapy for 6 weeks. Will then had 6 months of having chemo for one week every month. We are now watching and waiting and hoping regrow the will be slow. Will has remained in full time work as a builder throughout all of the treatment and we are living life as normal as possible.
Will has always talked about wanting to do a skydive and i have managed to arrange this for him as part of his birthday/xmas presents! On Monday 22nd August 2016, Skydive Buzz are holding a new official Guinness World Record attempt. The greatest number of skydivers attempting a tandem skydive from the ultimate height of 15,000ft, the highest you can go without an oxygen supply. We have recently received confirmation from his consultant who has given him the go ahead aslong as he is feeling well on the day.
So we are taking this opportunity to tick off one of Will's to do's and raise some money for a great charity.Brain Tumour Support is the only brain tumour charity dedicated to support across the South West and Midlands, and provides specialist, tailored services for anyone affected by any type of brain tumour. A fantastic support network for us both.
