Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running 1 Million Steps (500 Miles) throughout the next 10 months  with the full support of Packetts Insurance Brokers, to raise money for Bradford's children's charity, One In A Million (see www.oneinamillion.org.uk). 
 


I am passionate about encouraging young people in the community and I am taking part in this challenge to help One In A Million carry on their work.  
 
With your help I am hoping to raise 1p for every step of the Challenge equating to £10,000.

To qualify, each run / event must be a minimum of 10km within 1 hour

My challenge will include the following events:

Leeds 10k Abbey Dash   /   Harewood 10k Run  /  Great Edinburgh 10mile Run  /  Great Manchester Run  /  Great North 10k Run  /  Great Yorkshire Run and the 3 Peaks of Yorkshire!

One In A Million is a Bradford based charity, providing sports, arts, education and enterprise programmes to children & young people mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds. Helping them break through barriers of deprivation and inequality in order to achieve their full potential, many of whom live in the top 1% most deprived areas of the UK.  This year we want to raise even more funds to further our commitment to support the children and young people of Bradford.

Latest Child poverty figures show that over 19,000 children in Bradford live below the poverty line.  One in a Million is committed to improving the lives of these children & young people, many of whom are from some of the most deprived areas in the UK.
