The Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital have quite literally saved the life of my mother in law, Jan.  A woman who always has a positive mental attitude, who last October was told she had only a matter of weeks to live, after her aorta had begun to split.  

A guardian angel appeared in the shape of Mr Oo, the Cardiac Surgeon who had heard of Jan's plight and agreed to perform the life saving operation she needed.  

From the outset, the support, kindness and care that Mr Oo, his fantastic team of medical staff and nurses has given us, has been outstanding and we couldn't have coped with it all without them.

So I hope the money raised doing the 5k Colormerad run on Saturday 16th May will be able to support the hospital and continue with their outstanding work and help another family, as much as they have ours.
