Story
Webber Street is London City Mission's day centre for homeless people near Waterloo Station. It welcomes up to 100 guests a day and is a refuge from life on the streets. It is a place where men and women can experience God's love through the patient care of dedicated staff.
In the mornings we offer cooked breakfasts, tea and coffee, hot showers and clothing. In addition, we offer a range of other services, including access to a nurse, benefits advisor, a film club and more. But Webber Street is about more than food and replacing old clothes. We seek to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of guests, as well as the physical ones, to help restore some of the dignity that life on the streets has taken form them.
