Story

Last year I walked 102 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to raise money for SIFT and now I'm back to continue the challenge!  My walk this year takes me from the coastal village of Dale to Amroth.  At this point I'll be turning inland and walking to Foel Cwmcerwyn - the highest point in Pembrokeshire and the end of my 107 mile trek.

I'm doing this challenge between May 19th and May 26th and am raising money to support SIFT's fantastic health clinics in Nicaragua.  Every week Dr Sandra and her team of nurses bring everyday healthcare to rural communities on the volcanic island of Ometepe, in Lake Nicaragua.  It's the kind of health service that we take for granted here in the UK, and that really makes a difference to the lives of the poor.  You can have a look at the photos in the gallery below to see Dr Sandra and her team in action.

I'm hoping to raise at least £2,000 through this challenge, which will provide free medicines for over two months for everyone who comes to our clinics.
