Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My "friends" thought it would be fun to walk up Scafell Pike on Friday, 20th Sept. It seems that this is the tallest mountain in England at 978 metres. Now, this is not my idea of fun and in fact is likely to be nearing my idea of hell.
However, it's all planned, so I thought I would at least put myself through it for a good cause.
As some of you may know, my Dad passed away last month, after being diagnosed with stomach cancer. He spent some time at the Oncology Unit at Castle Hill hospital in Cottingham and I would like to raise money for the Daisy Appeal.
The Daisy Appeal is a charity established in the Hull & East Yorkshire region to help improve treatment and research into cancer and other diseases. They are in Phase 2 of their appeal - to create a permanent patient scanning and research centre.
