Being in the privileged position of working with the most amazing young people at JHN and seeing how hard they work to raise money for KiSS has inspired me to do my bit.  The Headboy and girl team of Ethan, Izzy, Jameson, Billie, Hannah and Georgina have raised an amazing £38,000 this year.  Having worked closely with the team I wanted to do something special and add to their record fundraising. 

Every penny makes such a difference to the children, their families and communities in Uganda.  It enables them to access education and build better futures, giving children and their parents the opportunity to become self sufficient.

The challenge of an Ultra marathon is not going to be an easy one.  100km or 62 miles (in old money) will really push me to the limit (maybe beyond!)  It is not just the event itself but the training which will require an immense effort.  If you can give a donation, however small, it will spur me on when running each weekend in preparation for the big one!!
