I am a painter, step-daughter of Sir Douglas Bader and have worked with the DBF since its inception following Douglas's death when we were inundated with letters demanding that we keep his inspiration alive. I see this as my personal way of contributing to Douglas's great legacy in this 30th Anniversary year of the Douglas Bader Foundation.

The NORDEN FARM DBF ART EXHIBITION  will run for 2 weeks  from the 22nd October at the Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Altwood Road, Maidenhead. It will be an exciting and eclectic group show by respected artists with all work either fully or half donated. A DBF supporter has kindly offered to pay for the hire of the Gallery and Norden Farm have generously waived their normal commission fees so almost all proceeds from sales of the work will go to the charity. I hope many of you will visit but you can donate to a good cause here either in lieu of, or as well as(!), buying a painting. Or simply to help a very worthy cause, of course. You will be able to find out more about the event on the DBF Website. We'll keep updating the pages as we get more information so please keep checking in.

The DOUGLAS BADER FOUNDATION relies almost entirely on donations and fund-raising to continue its invaluable work on behalf of amputees and other disabled and is extremely grateful for whatever donation you can manage.
