My son Steve, was an amazing singer, songwriter and musician. He lived for music and died, aged 27 on 1st October 2014 following a long battle with depression. He wrote and recorded some great songs with his band Alta Vida and they had just released their EP and finished a tour of America.

I hope that by doing the Great North Run, we will raise a significant amount of money for Youth Music, which every year provides thousands of young people with the opportunity to make music, helping them face the challenges in their lives and improve their wellbeing.

In memory of Steve, I would like to thank you so much in advance, for whatever donation you can spare.
