Wimbledon Mosque in collaboration with HAND IN HAND ( Registered Charity 1145862) for Syria are collecting food to send to Syria.

We need your help to send as many containers in the upcoming months as possible to the people of Syria who are desperately short of food. The donation policy is 100%. 

One container/20 pallets (20 tonnes) of food will cost approximately £20,000. 

The food items required are: Rice: 5 Pallets; Pasta: 2 Pallets, Broad beans: 4 Pallets, White Kidney Beans: 2 Pallets, Red Kidney Beans: 2 Pallets, Sardines: 1 Pallet, Tuna: 1 Pallet and Chickpeas: 3 Pallets.

Finally, the price of the container to be shipped to Syria will be £2400.

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives charity equal to a date from good (halal) earnings – for Allaah does not accept anything but that which is good – Allaah will take it in His right hand and tend it for the one who gave it as any one of you tends his foal, until it becomes like a mountain.”
