Story

As Scotland's greatest ever AMATEUR weatherman, I'm fortunate to have a cult following of over 100,000 people on both Facebook and Twitter

I had always wanted to organise a golf day because I'm a keen golfer myself, and so are a lot of my followers. However I never really got round to it.

Then on Christmas Eve 2013, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and decided to organise a charity golf day in 2014, in aid of Diabetes Scotland

It was such a success that I decided to organise another one in 2015, but this time in aid of CHAS Rachel House. Which also turned to out to be a success well

So here we are again, and I find myself organising Windy's Big Charity Golf Day 2016, in aid of the SCOTTISH ASSOCIATION FOR MENTAL HEALTH

To date we've raised about £17,000 pounds. My charity dream is to raise £100,000 over 10 years

Thank you so much
