Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
My name is Yasmin and I'm a first year medical student at Imperial College London. I am doing a crazy thing and planning to raise £2600 for the 'The Little Things' by July this year, and am hoping fervently for a little help. It's a little charity with some big goals to help drastically improve healthcare in developing countries, also offering the opportunity to complete amazing challenges - such as climbing the mountain Machu Picchu, in Peru (which I hope I'll be able to take part in this year).
This year they're focusing on Sri Lanka; installing an MRI scanner in Jaffna Teaching Hospital, funding a premature baby clinic in Kilinochchi, and installing lifesaving equipment in local hospitals.
Last year they successfully funded the first ever eye clinic in Arusha, Tanzania, helping countless people living in the area - we're hoping to be just as successful this year!
Their registered charity number is 1161803, and you can visit their website for more info: http://www.thelittlethings.org.uk/ (if you have more questions just ask me!).
