This page has been set up to support the Neonatal Unit at Russells Hall Hospital. 

Our son Zak Hickens was born on 18th September 2014, 13 weeks premature, weighing 2lb 3oz.

Zak is currently in intensive care, being looked after by the Drs and Nurses on the Neonatal Ward at Russells Hall Hospital.

Everyday is a battle, yet everyday we are thankful that Zak is still with us, fighting for his place in the world. We are eternally grateful to all the staff on the Neonatal Ward for what they have done, and what they are currently doing to care for Zak.

This page has been set up in order for us to raise money for the Neonatal Unit at Russells Hall Hospital, in order for premature babies to get the best equipment needed for the Drs and Nurses to continue doing the amazing job they do.
