The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards is the pinnacle of celebration of talent, art, business, expression and achievement in the Zimbabwean community throughout a very broad spectrum of genre. The Z.A.A is a distinctly special awards ceremony seeking to recognise Zimbabweans who have pushed the limits against all odds to raise the Zimbabwean flag high and do both themselves and their fellow countrymen proud, the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards aim to recognise the commitment to excellence, creativity, innovation and dedication of those Zimbabweans who have continued to expand on their talents and skill-set whilst celebrating their heritage.
In addition the Zimbabwe Achievers Award Committee have comitted to raising funds to support the below charities. Each charity, in their individual way, is doing important work in Zimbabwe, and in some cases around the world, to take care of the land, care of the people and care of the wildlife.

o Girl Child Network Worldwide supports and promotes girls’ rights, empowerment, and education by reaching out to and advancing the circumstances of girls wherever they are economically deprived, at risk of abuse, subject to harmful cultural practices, or living in areas of instability. We envision a world where girls everywhere are empowered and enjoy their right to walk in the fullness of their potential.
o Ponayi support all people of Southern African origin in the preservation of health and rehabilitation by the provision of education, support and practical advice to individuals, their families and carers.

o The African Baobab Foundation believe creating an enabling environment for people with disabilities to live independently, access information and a right to enjoy a lifestyle they choose to. Ensuring equal access to social services, protecting children with disabilities from violence, abuse and exploitation and promoting an environment of acceptance, understanding and non-discrimination.
o Vimba is a small charity established in 2007 by a group of friends who were united in their common desire to do something about the suffering occuring across Zimbabwe. The name ' Vimba ' translates to mean ‘hope’ in the native language Shona. Vimba does not have a political agenda and is purely focused on raising funds to assist a number of designated projects throughout Zimbabwe and South Africa.
