Story

The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards is the pinnacle of celebration of talent, art, business, expression and achievement in the Zimbabwean community throughout a very broad spectrum of genre. The Z.A.A is a distinctly special awards ceremony seeking to recognise Zimbabweans who have pushed the limits against all odds to raise the Zimbabwean flag high and do both themselves and their fellow countrymen proud, the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards aim to recognise the commitment to excellence, creativity, innovation and dedication of those Zimbabweans who have continued to expand on their talents and skill-set whilst celebrating their heritage.

In addition the Zimbabwe Achievers Award Committee have comitted to raising funds to support the below charities. Each charity, in their individual way, is doing important work in Zimbabwe, and in some cases around the world, to take care of the land, care of the people and care of the wildlife.

The name ' Vimba ' translates to mean ‘hope’ in the native language Shona. Vimba does not have a political agenda and is purely focused on raising funds to assist a number of designated projects throughout Zimbabwe and South Africa.
