In August 2015, I will be travelling to Ghana with the UK charity Project Trust, where I will be working at the St Theresas Centre in Abor. 

Project Trust is a registered charity which annually sends around 200 volunteers aged 17-19 to 25 different countries. A unique aspect of Project Trust is that the volunteers spend either 8 or 12 months in a country, experiencing the day-to-day life throughout the year. This is because Project Trust believes that this allows their volunteers to fully immerse themselves within the culture and integrate into the local community.

I have to raise £5,900 in order to fund my year overseas. This will cover necessities such as insurance, travel and training, as well as support during my time overseas.

I would be truly grateful any donation, big or small. Even suggestions as to ways of fundraising would be greatly appreciated. 

At the moment, in order to raise money, I am planning on bag packing, organising cake sales, hosting a dinner, hosting an auction as well as being sponsored helping around in peoples houses, such as cleaning and DIY.
