Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 23rd July 2012 I achieved my dream of swimming the English Channel. I swam from Samphire Hoe, England to Cap Blanc Nez in France in 16 hours 0 minutes. It was the hardest day of my life!

Although I have now completed my swim I am still fundraising for St Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire), which is based in Basingstoke.

In addition, I am now going to swim the length of Lake Windermere on Saturday 1st September 2012 - so this is an opportunity to sponsor me for TWO very challenging swims in 2012!

A UK registered charity, St Michael's Hospice receives 30% of its annual funding through the Hampshire PCT, the remaining 70% or £1.8million must be raised through fundraising and retail activities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
