Story
In two weeks, two of my housemates (Katherine and Lowri) and I will be cutting off at least 7 inches of our hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust. This charity provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls that have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment. I, as I'm sure many people have, have seen the devastating effect of hair loss during my mum's fight with cancer.
We thought this would be a great opportunity to fundraise for other cancer charities. We have created separate pages for this, which you can access through our Team page 'Crops and Bobbers' (link below).
I have chosen to raise money for BRIGHT, based at St Luke's Cancer Centre, Guildford, which funds vital research and new treatments to help gastro-intestinal cancer patients. Their research into pancreatic cancer is particularly important as it is very hard to treat and often the cancer has spread too far for surgery. This cause is very important to me and any donations (to any of us!) would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you in advance for anything you can give, no matter how small!
