May 2015 - This is my fourth year of running the Leeds Half to raise money for Leeds Mencap Playscheme.  The total is what has been raised over 4 years!! I buy my own place for the race so there isn't a specific target to reach. 

Each year I have been trying to raise money to ensure the kids can go on trips during the Summer Playscheme including transport.  Thank you everyone for your generosity - Your donations really do make a big difference. You will see from the photos of previous years that everyones donations make it a massive success.  A massive Thank you!!

Zoe Dooley has been involved with Mencap Leeds for many years in particular the Summer Playscheme. As a family we became involved when my brother Richard was born 37 years ago with Downs Syndrome. The playscheme was started in 1993 by my mum and many families have benefited from this. Therefore it is a special charity for me to support!

The feed back Mencap receive from the parents is amazing. The playschemes are vital for many families. Any donation would be gratefully received to enable this fantastic charity to continue its life changing work. It really does make a difference! Zoe x
