Story

On the 17-3-14 Elise was a normal 12 year old, she loves pizza, one direction, "chilling with her friends", playing with make up, and generally loving life. That evening Elise came in to her mum complaining of pain in her hips and the tops of her legs, her mum gave her some paracetamol and just thought she had over done it. Later that evening a rash appeared on the foot , her mum glass tested it and it stayed there so she ran 101 that advised to take her to hospital. A few hours and a few tests later and their families lives were torn apart by being told Elise has Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL).

A day for smiles is being run on behalf of Leanne Morris and Elise Morris. Starting at 10am at Matlock Bath (for all our walkers) a sponsored walk to finish at Jaxx Q-Club Belper for a fun-day, with a raffle, tombola, stalls, and much much more. The money raised was going to go to Elise originally but after discussing this with her and her mum and they want half to go to Queens Medical Center Ward 39 (oncology). We are looking for help and support for a local girl from local people. Can you or your company help? Every little helps! Lets show this little girl what amazing people are around us. Lets give this family something to smile for!! We are looking for donations for raffle prizes, offers of advertising and support for running the day, sponsored walkers and people to come and join us on the day. Basically anything that will make this day a day to remember and a truly amazing memory for Elise and her family.
