You may be aware that, this weekend (23-25 March), I am attempting a profoundly daft challenge.  The goal is to run the length of the Dorset coastline, from Lyme Regis through to Poole, in three days (the Jurassic Coast Challenge).  This works out as a marathon a day.  And I hear that it’s not exactly flat.

 

I would like to use the opportunity to raise some money for the Menieres Society.  Ménière's disease, from which I have suffered over a number of years now, is a disease of the inner ear with main symptoms being vertigo, tinnitus and hearing loss.  The Society provides very valuable information and support to those affected.  I also find running a pretty effective antidote to the symptoms and partly explains this recent bout of madness.
