Sun 3 March found her injured in field, bleeding - on exam needed emergency vet, who sedated her and using a nerve block performed surgery but had minimal hope. Course of antibiotics and pain relief supplied with instruction that if Music unable to put her weight on the damaged foot on the following morning she must be put to sleep. Music amazed everyone on Monday morning by walking on her badly injured hoof so antibiotics and pain relief cont'd, since then vet been amazed with progress, exam yesterday found tissue healing better than expected and good blood supply, next step is hospitalisation and immobilisation for 2-8 weeks. Estimated total cost is circa £2500
