How incredible would it be that if you supported Gilwell mosque, you'd earn the same rewards as those who prayed inside of it, worshiped Allah, learned about Islam from it (maybe even converted because of what they learned and so you earn the same rewards for whatever they do!). That would be such a huge blessing and your good deeds would continue to increase even after your death! We're talking 500,000 visitors per year worth of good deeds!

Gilwell is home to different faith facilities; it has both Catholic and Anglican places of worship, an outdoor chapel, a Buddhist temple and a Jewish synagogue. However, a Muslim place of worship is conspicuous by its absence. This is why the Muslim Scout Fellowship has offered to fund a Muslim place of worship in the traditional home of scouting.
The Gilwell Park mosque will be the first mosque built for the purpose of worship and learning about Islam in any UK Scouts campsite. It will be visited by over 500,000 scouts and campers every year, and so will serve as a MAJOR dawah centre. it will also cater for the ever increasing number of Muslim scouts.
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Sahih)
