Hi, 

Thank you very much for your donation. I'm raising money for both Nicola's Fund and a Mum's Chums as both Charities are very close to my heart. I have entered both IRONMAN 70.3 and a FULL IRONMAN UK (June & July respectively). These are not easy! and consist of numerous hours of swimming 2.4miles, biking 112miles and running 26.2miles all in ONE DAY! 

I have been training hard for this challenge since September and have pushed through many injuries, but now I am more determined than ever to compete and complete this challenge to help raise my ambitious target of £5000 for these two GREAT CAUSES.

The Nicola Fund is dedicated to a close school friend of mine who sadly lost her life to cancer at the age of 14. The money raised from this charity supports other families who are have children going through a similar battle to Nicola and provides them with the break they need. This charitable organisation has been an outstanding success, going from strength to strength all thanks to the combined efforts of her parents, Debbie and Paul and a wonderful committee. 

Mum's Chums is a group set up to give support and provide parents of disabled children a well deserved rest from day-to-day life. This is a very sensitive topic as I have grown up with it and seen the struggles and difficulties parents go through. My sister was born on the 27th April 1996 and was diagnosed with CDLS disability; she is a real inspiration to everyone around her. Growing up I saw the amazing  effort, and sometimes pain, my parents have gone through first hand and I want to help other parents in similar situations by raising money so they can get a well deserved break. 

Please help me raise as possible! I really, really appreciate it - you will make a real difference to these children lives!
