Alexis Howgill, friend to many of us in Petworth and highly respected dealer in antiques for many years, was taken suddenly from us in a tragic road accident.

Many people in the town have asked how they can contribute so, having spoken with the Howgill family we are organising contributions to be made to Friends of Brighton and Hove Hospitals.  The staff at Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton cared for Alexis in her final hours, and have continued to care for her husband Patrick during his recovery.
