We're embarking on a crazy 100k walk in September 2016 to raise money for Fabulous Four Paws because we not only love animals, but we also love a scenic walk (and blisters!).

Four paws is an amazing charity because they have an open mind when supporting all sorts of animals and their projects know no end! From relocating bears; tigers; rhinos (and others) to championing conservation and animal care, they do their bit to make the world a better place for animals.

Four Paws give animals the voice they so desperately need in a world where various species are constantly battling the threat of extinction and, day-to-day, a lack of awareness about their plight.

Why are we fundraising?

Jo - After a recent visit to Romania and seeing the desperate situation that stray dogs have to contend with (not to mention the appalling conditions they live in!), I was more motivated than ever to get involved in raising awareness and money for a cause such as this. Seeing dogs that are trembling in fear, cold and hungry really left its mark on me and it's a situation that can really touch you when you experience it first hand. 

Marcia - I feel passionately about the work that Four Paws does as they rescue animals from appalling situations. People generally do not think about the impact of their day-today actions on the animal world and Four Paws does an amazing job when it comes to educating the general public.
